Planet Possible - Improved Physical and mental wellbeing

Creating a new generation of active kids

“We’re on a mission to redefine what it means to be physical activity, for children, through innovative and engaging digital solutions.

Our Story

Many children struggle with confidence and motor skills, particularly when it comes to sports and exercise. These challenges often lead to a lack of physical activity, with some children becoming isolated because the available options require being active in front of others.

The opportunity for children to “go out to play” has become increasingly scarce, limiting their independent playtime which is crucial for developing coordination, physical confidence, and other essential skills. According to the United Nations (UN), the trend towards urban living will further restrict children’s chances for independent play.

As a result, children today miss out on developing essential physical skills early on, which are vital for establishing healthy habits as they grow older.

Our Co-founder and CEO, Jon Reynolds, who was recently diagnosed as autistic, deeply understands this problem. Jon was overweight as a child and disliked being active, especially in front of others. He found team sports confusing and unappealing, saying, “what you are meant to do to play sport doesn’t make sense to me.” However, the school he attended and his ambition to join the Army motivated him to stay active and participate. Unfortunately, most inactive children won’t have the same opportunities to make such a change.

We’re fixing it!

Our Journey

In 2018, Jon Reynolds introduced a digital health program called Classroom Movers into UK primary schools. This initiative motivated children through short bursts of activity before learning sessions, increasing both their engagement and energy. Inspired by the positive effects of play, Jon began to explore how this experience could be further developed.

As a father, Jon recognised that children, like his own, are drawn to both video games and play-based activities. He saw an opportunity to combine these elements, creating an experience that was fun, engaging, and beneficial for their health.

To truly make an impact, Jon knew the solution needed to be designed with children in mind. He envisioned a video game that turned physical activity into an exciting, immersive experience, featuring an engaging storyline, few barriers to entry, social connections with friends, and compelling gamification elements to keep kids motivated.

In addition to promoting physical activity, the game will take the opportunity to educate children on important topics like sustainability, nutrition, and overall well-being. These lessons, seamlessly integrated into gameplay, align with the values of schools and parents, supporting our mission to help children lead healthier, happier lives.
